Dikotylon's "Gigantes Feneou" are produced by local farmers in Feneos, a high mountain valley nestled between the peaks of Mt. Helmos and Mt. Zyria at an elevation of 2,000 feet, in the northern Peloponnese. The area is renowned for its bean cultivation. Gigantes Feneou retain their unique characteristics through cultivation techniques that have been handed down from generation to generation. They are entirely hand farmed and hand processed. The exclusive selection of seeds, by the farmers themselves, for sowing the following year preserves the purity of these unique beans.
Ingredients: 100% Gigantes beans of Feneos
No preservatives, no pesticides

Gigantes are a versatile bean with a mild, meaty flavor that can used in any recipe that calls for white beans, although note that their larger size may require more cooking time. Below are some of my favorite recipes using gigantes.
Baked Gigantes With Honey and Dill
Warm Gigantes Salad with Pumpkin-Pistachio Pesto
They're Hugh and in good shape in pkg. and creamy cooked.
I figure they have to be much fresher than the beans yoiu get at the grocery store and those aren't Gigante, because they cook in about 35 minutes. But the price is pretty high and then you have to add shipping to it.
Love these beans
Excellent. My favorite.
Big fan of Gigantes
Giant butter beans are a big hit at my house. I cook them in stews, soups or just for salads.
Sorry, but I have not fixed the Giant Beans yet !
I love these beans
They cook up beautifully, big and soft and lovely. I am a vegetarian and they are my treat food—baked or just marinated in oil and wine vinegar and garlic.
