Wisdom Of Nature's Petizmezi is produced from Agiorgitiko grapes. It is a 100% natural sweetener and contains no additives or preservatives. It has an aroma of light honey and fresh grapes.

Petimezi is made by reducing grape must (mousto) into a concentrated syrup. It is one of the world's oldest sweeteners and an exceedingly healthy one at that. It is rich in antioxidants, vitamins A, C, and B, and minerals such as potassium, iron, calcium, and magnesium. Our bodies metabolize the natural sugars in petimezi easily, too.

Petimezi (also called grape must/molasses) is a natural sweetener that can be used in place of balsamic vinegar in salad dressings, marinades, and sauces as well as with meat and bean stews or to caramelize meat and poultry. It pairs beautifully with aromatic tomato sauces, warm spices such as cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, and even with dark chocolate or just over ice cream.

I found a recipe that called for using it. I have not used it yet. I did tast it, most plesant. I am sure I will like on my Salmon recipe.
