Gigantes (Giant Beans) from Feneos (17.5 oz)
Gigantes are a versatile bean with a mild, meaty flavor that can used in any recipe that calls for white beans, although note that their larger size may require more cooking time. Below are some of my favorite recipes using gigantes.
I've purchased these beans elsewhere, and the quality of these is much superior! They have a beautiful, creamy texture and delicious flavor.
I love these beans. They are so satisfing like small potatoes but loaded with protein and fiber. They are delicious and remind me when my Uncle Stefanos from Astoria use to bake them for me when I would visit.--- As for the paximadia from Crete,, they are so good I cant stop eating them. They are superhealthy grains made with barley and ancient zea flour. My microbiome cant thank you enough.
I love Gigantes, these are wonderful addition to my menu. I make the Gigantes with grape molasses and herbs for an easy lunch (so far my favorite way to prepare them). Since I do have to order them (can not buy locally) this is the best price and great quality.

Never cooked with gigantes before so I was pleasantly surprised how great they were in the Greek soup. New favorite bean!
