Kritamo (Rock Samphire) (13.4 oz)
We eat it on boiled potatoes with butter or olive oil. It has a wonderful fragrance and taste unlike anything thing else I have eaten. The pickling juice is fragrant too, we use it too. It’s worth noting that this is not the rock samphire that grows in OK or Scotland. Or for sale in California.is completely different plant with a completely different flavour profile.
Delicious, fast an easy to use.my boiled potatoes were slathered with a little olive oil and butter and rested on a bed bruised fresh mustard greens with a piece of Rock Samphire for each bite. A few oil cured black olives and a few salt dried capers finished off the plate. This was one of the tastiest things I made this year. The jar is generous
Best ever! Similar to olives and capers. Love this product eat it out of the jar!
