Organic Petimezi (8.5 oz)
Petimezi (also called grape must/molasses) is a natural sweetener that can be used in place of balsamic vinegar in salad dressings, marinades, and sauces as well as with meat and bean stews or to caramelize meat and poultry. It pairs beautifully with aromatic tomato sauces, warm spices such as cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, and even with dark chocolate or just over ice cream.

I found a recipe that called for using it. I have not used it yet. I did tast it, most plesant. I am sure I will like on my Salmon recipe.
This syrup has a fruity flavour and I used it in place of vinegar in simple olive oil and vinegar dressing. I added some thyme, sea salt and fresh ground pepper and it was a delicious change from wine vinegar. I also plan to use it as a drizzle on fresh sliced strawberries!
