Rusks made with Ancient Wheat - Sfakia, Crete (8.8 oz)
Rusks have a crunchy texture similar to croutons. If you'd like to soften them a bit you can run them briefly under water. They are a delicious and long-lasting pantry staple that can be used in so many different ways. You can serve them with some of our delicious dips, cheese, and olives as a mezze, dip them in soups, or add as a crunchy topping to salads and pasta.
Rusks are great with soups or salads, they give crunch and bite to an otherwise soft meal. These rusks have a complex flavor close to whole wheat, but with a hint of rye or something. Very nice, I use them to dip in my coffee too when what I really want is a cookie but we keep cookies out of the house. Did you ever dip your toast in coffee? then you know how nice that can be.
We placed them on the bottom of our Greek salads. They are incredible!
Great product, ancient recipes, full of taste. Doctors recommended
The rusks are good..and the santorini tomato dip is AWESOME.
Excellent -- but hard as a rock. Eat carefully. I much prefer this to any kind of crackers, and enjoy dipping it or breaking it up into soup --- or sprinkling it on salad, like a hearty crouton. These have a robust flavor that modern wheats sometimes don't have. Great to have available. I've already ordered 10 of these packages, and keep them handy for soups, dipping in tea or milk, or eating raw (carefully...I have old teeth).
